Racing Bulls saw a weekend of mixed results in Canada, with Liam Lawson scoring a solid P7 while Arvid Lindblad suffered a frustrating DNF. Lawson's Grand Prix recovery was a masterclass after hydraulic issues plagued his Friday, forcing him to miss Sprint Qualifying and severely limiting practice. Starting P12, the New Zealander steadily climbed the ranks, fending off Pierre Gasly's Alpine late to secure seven points and match his best finish this season. He admitted the car lacked race pace compared to qualifying, making the P7 a hard-fought achievement.
Conversely, Lindblad’s promising weekend imploded on race day. After earning a point in the Sprint and qualifying P9 for the main event, a clutch issue left him stranded on the grid, unable to start. It was a bitter pill after the 18-year-old showed strong pace and adaptability on his first visit to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Despite Lindblad's setback, Lawson's points push Racing Bulls to P6 in the Teams' standings. They’ll need both drivers firing on all cylinders to hold that position moving forward.
