Charles Leclerc is set to test a new brake supplier at the Barcelona Grand Prix following his disastrous crash in Monaco. The Ferrari driver revealed his home race exit was due to a technical issue, specifically stating, "Out of the four brakes, I had three brakes not working." Hamilton utilizes Carbon Industrie discs and pads, a departure from Leclerc's usual Brembo setup, which he has reportedly struggled with for some time. The Monegasque will evaluate the Carbon Industrie system during Friday practice. This change is a matter of driver preference, not a definitive upgrade. It's a critical move for Leclerc, who hasn't secured a podium since Japan and has slipped to fourth in the championship. How this new setup impacts his performance could be pivotal for his season.
