BATTIG ANNOUNCED AS WILD CARD ENTRY FOR SILVERSTONE

Sixteen-year-old Swiss phenom Chiara Battig will make her F1 Academy debut as the Wild Card entry for the 2026 Silverstone round. This race marks the all-female series' first appearance at the legendary British circuit. Battig will pilot the #6 Hitech car, proudly representing Official Partner Wella Professionals with a livery inspired by their "Make It You" campaign, celebrating female empowerment.

Her impressive racing career includes becoming the youngest Swiss Karting Champion, securing three consecutive titles in the OK-Junior category. As a Red Bull Junior, Battig has already delivered podium finishes in F4 Saudi Arabia, the Formula Winter Series, and notably, a third-place finish in British F4 at Silverstone earlier this year. She’s primed to capitalize on this opportunity, bringing valuable track experience to her F1 Academy debut. This Wild Card entry underscores the series' commitment to spotlighting promising female talent on the global stage.
