A Disney-designed F1 helmet signed by 20 drivers from the 2026 grid sold for £151,000 (roughly $201,000) via F1 Authentics, setting two records: the highest public sale for an unworn replica helmet at auction and the biggest single charitable item ever moved through the platform. The previous mark was Max Verstappen's race-worn overalls from Montreal 2023, which fetched £112,000. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish International.

The "Fuel the Magic" lid was designed by Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse, and Disney creative director Bobby Kim. Matt black base, red and yellow accents, Mickey artwork across the shell.

Fans who missed the auction can see the design at D23 in Anaheim from August 14-16, where a second identical helmet will be on display. The sale signals F1's charitable auctions are hitting a new tier — and that Disney collaborations carry serious collector weight.
