FERRARI TO DELIVER UPGRADED F1 ENGINE AT ITALIAN GP

Ferrari is throwing everything at Monza. The Scuderia will deploy its ADUO-permitted engine upgrade at the Italian Grand Prix, targeting 15 additional horsepower from a revised combustion chamber and turbocharger that should halve the gap to Mercedes' benchmark power unit. New Shell fuel adds another tick. The 067/7 spec has cleared reliability benchmarks in repeated dyno runs, and Ferrari is pairing it with a more efficient Macarena rear wing variant and potential blown-exhaust tweaks to trim drag on Monza's straights.

The timing matters. Ferrari has gone two races without a podium, hemorrhaged 87 points to Mercedes in the constructors' standings, and won just three of the last 19 Italian Grands Prix. Lewis Hamilton's first Monza weekend in red comes with a Michael Schumacher tribute livery and an unexpected gift: Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli will start from the back after taking a full power unit penalty. Ferrari needs this one.
