A Kimi Antonelli rookie card just sold for $878,400, the second-highest price ever paid for an F1 trading card. The 2025 Topps Chrome SuperFractor—one of one, PSA 10, signed in blue ink—closed at Goldin on October 17 after 34 bids, landing just $21,600 shy of the all-time record: a Lewis Hamilton SuperFractor that fetched $900,000 in 2022.
The timing isn't coincidence. Antonelli arrives in Austin with a 102-point lead over George Russell and can clinch the championship Sunday with a win and a Russell finish outside the top eight. He's 20 years old. A title would make him the youngest world champion in F1 history, breaking Sebastian Vettel's 2010 mark.
The same auction moved another Antonelli card—a Red Refractor numbered 5/5—for $128,100. That one sold for $5,000 on eBay in February. The market knows what's coming.
