Lance Stroll spent his summer break piloting a £3 million Aston Martin DBR22 through Monaco — one of just 22 ever built. The open-cockpit V12 speedster pumps out 705 horsepower and tops out at 198 mph, a fitting ride for a driver whose garage also includes a Ferrari California and Lamborghini Huracán. The DBR22 originally sold for £1.5 million; values have since doubled.
The street flex stands in sharp contrast to Stroll's 2026 season. Aston Martin arrived with Adrian Newey's first design and a new Honda power unit, then collapsed under the weight of reliability gremlins — 11 DNFs between Stroll and Fernando Alonso through the first half of the calendar. A B-spec car at Hungary lifted them to 13th and 14th. They sit 10th in the constructors' standings with one point, only ahead of Cadillac. The DBR22 runs better than the AMR26.
