Lando Norris debuts a special helmet at the Canadian Grand Prix, raising awareness for Sir Jackie Stewart’s dementia charity, Race Against Dementia. The striking design is split, visually representing a healthy brain on one side and the impact of synaptic loss caused by dementia on the other. This concept, developed with charity Fellow Dr. Maura Malpetti, vividly illustrates how the disease damages neural connections.

Three-time F1 world champion Stewart founded the organization after his wife Helen was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, funding over £20 million in research since 2016. Norris stated that hearing Stewart's experience highlighted the widespread impact of the condition. Mini versions of the helmet are available, with all profits directly supporting the cause. This initiative underscores the F1 community's consistent backing for such vital medical research, bringing a crucial health issue into the global spotlight as the F1 circus heads into a challenging Montreal race weekend.
