The Dutch GP won't be back. The privately funded event returned in 2021 after a 36-year absence, riding Verstappen's rise to the top, but financial pressure forced organizers to walk away rather than extend beyond this season. Verstappen took full responsibility for the crash—wet line, early throttle, no grip—but his real frustration was pace. "We were simply too slow the entire weekend," he told Sky Germany after the wreck.
Zandvoort's crowd energy was unmatched, but the business case never closed. The championship moves on without it.
