McLaren will celebrate its 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix start in Monaco with a special, one-off livery on the MCL40. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s cars will carry the commemorative graphics for both the Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix. McLaren becomes only the second team in F1 history to reach this incredible milestone, following Ferrari who did so in 2020.

To mark the occasion, McLaren’s first F1 car, the M2B, will be displayed on the grid. Key figures like CEO Zak Brown, Team Principal Andrea Stella, and F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali will attend, alongside all living McLaren Grand Prix winners, notably including seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. This is the fifth special livery in six years for McLaren at Monaco, a circuit where they often showcase unique designs, including last year's tribute livery when Norris took victory. It's a fitting tribute to their storied legacy as they look to build on recent momentum.
