Mercedes and adidas finally released the metallic silver jacket that went viral after George Russell and Kimi Antonelli wore it through the hottest race weekends of 2026. The attention wasn't subtle — when adidas Motorsport posted "The jacket everyone has been waiting for" in late September, it racked up 160,000 likes in days.
Two versions hit the market: a standard edition at $300 and a Pro version at $750. Both mirror the oversized, stand-up collar design drivers wear trackside, built from polyurethane shell and recycled polyamide lining. The shine comes from the CLIMACOOL concept, originally engineered to keep drivers cool in scorching paddocks. The team version includes cooling agents and built-in fans; the retail drop skips that tech but keeps the look.
They're moving fast. Mercedes turned paddock envy into a product launch that proves F1 merch has crossed into streetwear territory — and fans are paying luxury prices to match.
