George Russell is "dying to have a smooth weekend" in Barcelona after a string of calamitous races. That misstep followed a Canadian DNF due to a battery problem, dropping Russell to third in the championship, now 68 points behind teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Antonelli has won every race since Russell’s season-opening victory in Melbourne.

Russell admits his performance in Miami and Monaco "wasn't strong enough," though he believes he could have had three more podiums this season with just "neutral luck."
