Sauber rolls out a unique ‘Glitched Out’ livery for the Spanish Grand Prix, marking its second custom design of the season after a Miami appearance. The C44 will feature a pixelated rendition of its signature bright green and black, extending the theme to driver race suits for Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, plus pit equipment. This aesthetic change comes as the team, currently last in the championship with only a P7 from Hulkenberg in Melbourne, brings a crucial upgrade package to Barcelona. Team principal Jonathan Wheatley states the new C45 parts aim to provide a clearer picture of competitiveness. With stricter FIA front wing deflection tests starting this weekend, Sauber hopes its technical updates, combined with the new regulations, will finally move them up the grid. Their performance in Spain will dictate if this visual refresh translates to on-track gains.
