SOCIAL MEDIA: TSOLOV MAKES FORMULA 1 TEST DEBUT AT IMOLA

Nikola Tsolov logged his first official Formula 1 laps Wednesday, driving Racing Bulls' TPC car at Imola. The 19-year-old Red Bull Junior currently leads the Formula 2 championship and could become Bulgaria's first F1 race driver if his trajectory holds.

The test was a TPC session—Testing of Previous Cars—meaning Tsolov ran VCARB's 2024 machinery rather than this year's spec. Still, it's the clearest signal yet that Red Bull's junior program sees him as more than just feeder-series depth. He's posted three wins in F2 this season and holds a comfortable points lead with four rounds remaining.

Racing Bulls has one confirmed seat open for 2027, and Tsolov just put himself in the conversation. If he closes out the F2 title in the next month, the Imola mileage won't be his last.
