Verstappen cruised to victory in a rain-delayed Singapore sprint that turned into a demolition derby. George Russell grabbed the lead from pole-sitter Verstappen into Turn 1 but lasted barely a lap before spinning into the pitwall exiting the final corner, handing Max an easy win. Lewis Hamilton vaulted to second with a blistering start, jumping both McLarens and proving the faster Ferrari as teammate Charles Leclerc faded badly. But the real fireworks came on the final lap when Lando Norris lunged recklessly at Oscar Piastri into Turn 5, spinning both McLarens. Piastri retired; Norris limped home eighth and faces investigation. The carnage promoted championship leader Kimi Antonelli to fourth and lifted the midfield—Liam Lawson took a polished fifth, while Ollie Bearman grabbed sixth for Haas, holding off Nico Hulkenberg from rival Audi. Nine retirements total. McLaren's self-inflicted wound could prove costly in the constructors' fight.
